Summer Camp 2012

„Get up, Stand up, Speak up … “

The 10th Summer Camp came to an end on 13 August. Our partners for the event were:

• Association Re: Element, Sarajevo, BiH
• SVETIONIK from Bar, Montenegro
• Scoutgroup Remizijana from Bela Palanka, Serbia
• Europski Dom Vukovar, Croatia
• Fundacija FARMa from Staszow, Poland

A very good relationship with all partners over many years has been and is the basis for an effective cooperation. The Summer Camp lasted for almost three weeks. Its motto was „Get up, Stand up, Speak up - Young People go for a peaceful and joint Europe“. 36 young people and 8 team counsellors, together with professionals for the creative workshops LandArt, Dance, Theatre and Music took part. For workshops on Europe and Human Rights specialists were engaged. The representative of the European Commission in Bonn gave a very well received lecture followed by an intense discussion period.
All participants returned home safely. Everybody has lived thru a very informative period of time, learned a lot, picked up many ideas for the future and started friendships which may last for many years.
During the Summer Camp CAMPUS15 celebrated its 15th Birthday.
